Review: Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream

I've been looking for a Beauty Balm Cream which I can rely on through the fall, as I feel I need something of a lighter coverage for everyday use. I came across a youtube guru who I adore and she really recommended this product so I decided to purchase one for myself. It was very much priced as a luxury brand. I was so excited to try it out. When it arrived it was wrapped up very nicely. They also gave me a free sample of their photo finish foundation primer which I thought was kind. The packaging itself is quite simple. I ordered the Camera Ready BB cream in light. The colour match was perfect. When I first used it, I applied the cream with a foundation brush. I found that the cream was actually quite thick in texture and you had to really work hard with the brush to blend it in. I would describe the texture to a Mac Studio Fix Foundation. The coverage was very good. My skin did look flawless. It felt lightweight and I did not get shiny all day. I would say it's best to apply with fingers as it's alot easier to blend the product in. I was a little disappointed as I was looking for a light coverage beauty balm. I wouldn't be discouraged to use it again. But if you are looking for a Beauty Balm with a heavy coverage I would recommend this product as it does do what it says and Iooks beautiful on but it wouldn't be my preference.

Olympia Beauty Haul

This year I got sent two complimentry tickets to the Olympia Beauty expedition. I was so excited as I have never been to Olympia before. Olympia Beauty is more of a Make-up and Nails expedition. There were a lot of big brands such as OPI, Essie, CND Shellac, Gelish, NYX, Lash Perfect, Fake Bake and much more. There were many new upcoming brands which I found interesting to look at. Everything was laid out well. I had such a great day and I shall visit again next year xxx
